Recipe of the Week: Melted Broccoli Spread

No matter if you only have broccoli buds, crowns, or even florets it is a perfect go-to recipe. Chop it and cook with olive oil and aromatics. Broccoli is a cruciferous vegetable related to cabbage, kale, cauliflower and brussels sprouts. It is rich in antioxidants and other beneficial plant compounds offering several benefits, especially for eye health, heart health and disease prevention. Broccoli is high in many nutrients, including fiber, vitamin C, vitamin K, iron and potassium.
